Description: Background. The efficient operation of enterprises in industrial areas, the purpose and the result of which is their economic development, is characterized by the process of identifying and compiling factors. The work of enterprises in many aspects has been discussed many times and is reflected in scientific papers of the leading economists. However, some issues associated with the economic efficiency of enterprises in relation to the industrial area have not been studied adequately. &#xD;
Materials and/or methods. Based on the analysis of scientific and methodical materials, it can be argued that functioning of the enterprise taking into account the characteristics of the industrial area is &#xD;
carried out with the aim of creating a competitive market for the product or services. To do this, one of the prerequisites is compliance with general and specific requirements that can meet the needs and provide a comprehensive economic development of enterprises and industrial areas. &#xD;
Results. In accordance with the study objective to ensure the efficient functioning of enterprises in the &#xD;
industrial area the scientific and methodological approach is developed, which formulates the functional dependence of the efficiency of enterprises and industrial areas from specific factors: «operating activity» factor for the enterprise; «resource»and «organizational» factors for industrial areas. &#xD;
As a result, it can be concluded that the economic efficiency of enterprises in the industrial area is based on the rational use of natural, industrial and economicresources for the purpose of the development of all economic entities of the area. &#xD;
Conclusion. The development and use of scientific and methodological approaches will promote their mutual economic development.</description>

Description: Background. Military conflicts are the extremely dangerous phenomena for humanity, characterized by a large number of victims and undermining the life foundations of the population. They are the detonator of the accumulated ecological and economic problems of society, causing negative changes in &#xD;
the environment. Military conflicts lead to economic damage, expressed in the cost of liquidation of ecologically destructive consequences. The anthropogenic impact of military conflicts on the environment can be considered from the perspective of three aspects: excessive use of natural conditions and resources within the territory; use of the environment as a landfill for military wastes and by-products; the threat to the natural life foundations of the biosphere. One of the main problems of military conflict in Donbass is a violation of soil homogeneity, decrease in soil fertility, elimination of flora, fauna, and microorganisms. Ecological and economic damage of these effects involves the assessment of potential and actual losses as a result of negative anthropogenic impacts and the resources needed to eliminate the negative effects of the total anthropogenic load. &#xD;
Materials and/or methods. In modern practice, there is no unified approach to the assessment of environmental and economic damages to the agricultural land use. This assessment is to determine damages in cost form. But this approach does not alwaysprovide a comprehensive assessment, because its indicators are of different nature and quantitative measurement. It is, therefore,possible to assess the &#xD;
potential ecological and economic damage using the method of "games against nature" according to the Hurwitz criterion. &#xD;
Results. In the case of the intense decrease in soil fertility as a result of military action, the assessment of ecological and economic damage is based on the indicator of ecological and economic consequences of pollution and decrease in soil fertility. Using the method of «games against nature» according to the Hurwitz criterion to establish the link between safe and destructive development of ecological and &#xD;
economic activities in Donbass; to assess the impact of hidden factors on the ecological and economic development of the region, and justify the choice ofoptimum development strategy of the economic entity or the territory and economic system as a whole,considering the impact of various environmental conditions on its behavior. &#xD;
Conclusion. The accumulation of ecological and economic problems is felt particularly acute. The lack of a unified mechanism for their detection hampers the quantification. The aggravated situation makes its amendments to the system of environmental and economic risks and threats, requiring a &#xD;
principally new mechanism of assessment. In this regard, the intermediate and final results of the proposed method of assessment of ecological and economic conditions can be used in future for developing the strategy of administrative decisions on managing the natural resources potential of Donbass.</description>

Предложен алгоритм организации конкурсного отбора, включающий в себя процедуру предварительного отбора и проведение самого конкурса. Внедрение предложенного алгоритма обеспечит объективность и прозрачность процедуры допуска операторов на рынок автотранспортных услуг.
Description: Background. The quality of the urban public transport is at a catastrophically low level. The developed competitive market of the urban passenger transportation will make the carriers under the threat of losing their business continually improve the quality system and overall competitiveness of services aimed at increasing customer satisfaction. At the present time to improve the quality of passenger transportation on regular bus routes a system of multi-criteria selection of operators of passenger services is introduced. The main mechanism of the best proposals selection is a contest.&#xD;
Materials and/or methods. The procedure of multi-criteria selection of passenger services operators is regarded. The existing parameters of the competitive evaluation of the operators of urban passenger transport are analyzed. The algorithm of the organization of competitive selection, including the prequalification procedure and the organization of the competition, is proposed. &#xD;
Results. The parameters of selecting the winner of the contest for urban passenger transportation are defined. The algorithm of the organization of competitive selection is proposed, which includes procedures, prior to the competitive selection process (thepreliminary stage of selection, development of requirements for candidates) and the procedure for the competitive selection of the operator itself. &#xD;
Conclusion. To improve the efficiency of urban publictransport and the quality of service it is necessary while carrying out a competitive selection of operators of urban passenger transport to pay attention not only to the procedure of selection itself but also preliminary preparation. This will provide an opportunity to gather more information about the quality of passenger services and to identify bottlenecks in the organization of urban bus transportation.</description>

конструкций. Определены возможные характерные отказы.
Description: Background. The final stage of smelting is the production of long products. The technological process was developing from individual rolling 100-kg ingots to continuous rolling 2-ton ingots. The &#xD;
arrangement scheme and the drive of working stands of section mills were one-stand, sequential, linear, sequentially-continuous and continuous. Currently, long products production is carried out on continuous rolling mills. The main design decision in the drive of rolling mill stands is the use of combined reducers. These reducers combine the functions of changing rotation frequency, torque and split torque (reducer and gear stand). Determination of the development tendencies of combined &#xD;
reducers’ designs will allow making informed decisions when designing new and reconstructing operating drives. The analysis of characteristic failures is necessary for the further improvement of &#xD;
the reducers’ reliability. &#xD;
Materials and/or methods. The study is based on a review of the development of combined reducers of various design solutions. Various types of combinedreducers for rolling stands of section rolling mills &#xD;
and the main causes of fault in the specific design solution are examined. &#xD;
Results. The design solution, while remaining fundamentally unchanged, has been used in designing the drives for the working stands of section mills for a long time. The main differences are associated with the hull elements, their location, the assembly sequence, unchanged remains the high rigidity hull combined with rigid shaft installing in roller bearings. There is a lack of reliability of lubrication systems represented by spray nozzles; the rate of damage development, in this case, is large and can not be prevented by carrying out regular inspections. The review indicates a waiver of the vertical location of the motors and installing them in a horizontal position, notwithstanding the use of a more &#xD;
complicated in design and maintenance conical-cylindrical reducer.&#xD;
Conclusion. The analysis of the structure development ofcombined reducers shows that the main differences are associated with the hull design, the most typical failures are caused by a disturbance in the lubrication regime, and the optimal design solution involves a horizontal location of the electric motors of combined reducers.</description>
