Abstract: В статье рассматривается проблема формирования картины мира студентов- филологов, что отражает когнитивный уровень языковой личности. Акцентируется мысль, что процессы овладения иностранным языком и формирования картины мира являются взаимосвязанными. Формирование картины мира рассматривается как когнитивная активность индивида, состоящая из трёх этапов: овладения, инкорпорации и оперирования информацией. Вводится модель аккультурации, которая учитывает два проявления культурного взаимодействия: этноцентрическое, предполагающее признание приоритета собственной культуры и отрицание чужой, и этнорелятивистское, предполагающее признание равноправия своей и чужой культур. Description: This article deals with the problem of students-philologists’ worldview formation which reflects the cognitive level of linguistic personality. The key idea is that the processes of foreign language learning and worldview development are interrelated. A particular concern of the article is an individual’s cognitive activity which is looked upon as a triad consisting of three overlapping stages: acquisition, incorporation and operation of information. In the focus of attention is a model of acculturation which embraces two manifestations of human cultural interaction: the ethnocentric that is based on recognition of priority of one’s own culture, and the ethnorelative which is based on recognition of equality of native and alien cultures. 2011-01-01T00:00:00Z
